At 7th month

At 7 Month, we went for our usual maternal nurse appointment.

YS now can sit up if we put him in the sitting position (support with his own hand on furniture or on the floor), however we still see him shaking his body to find the balance point. The nurse said we should put YS more on his tummy as this will train himself to sit up from the prone position.

Weight : 7.4Kg
(Nurse reckon this is a bit underweight, despite of milk, I should have started him 3 diets a day - breakfast, lunch n dinner and slowly introduce meat to him).
Height : 67cm

Another Aunt Wedding

Yong Shuan attended another aunt's wedding weeks ago in Prai, northern Penisular Malaysia. We met with relatives who came all the way from up north, down south even Singapore.

After a long 1.5 hour travel from Ipoh to Prai, YS fall asleep half way through the dinner with the loud Karaoke played as background music.

THE ACTUAL WEDDING DAY

YS's received his first wedding Ang Pao from the bride.

While everyone was busy with the arrangement of ritual gifts, YS enjoyed his VIP fan seat in the center of the kitchen.

Yong Shuan's 1st Chinese New Year Celebration

On the Reunion Dinner Night, everyone was busy decorating Chinese New Year theme in the house. Yong Shuan was amazed with one of the flashing deco Yeh-Yeh bought from the store.

p/s: Yong Shuan was wearing 30 year old Doraemon pants since daddy's time.

On the first day of Chinese New Year, we dressed up in new clothes and had vegetarian breakfast at home with the family. Daddy was feeding Yong Shuan the Red-Bean-Prosperous-Dessert in the following photo.

This Chinese New Year break, sis suggested we go for family photo shooting. We went to one of the famous photo galleries in Ipoh for Yong Shuan 1st family photo. In fact, we went there during March 2007 for sis's graduation photo. We were quite impressed with the output last time so we went back to the same place.

Childhood Friends

Proud Ah-Gongs carry two happy babies.

Lately, I was busy with Yong Shuan's eczema and a few wedding dinners. Finally, I found time to post this entry.

Godsis gave birth to her first baby, Shen Liang one month earlier than me. Our parents know each others during their school time. So we are three-generation childhood friends. There are a few more friends with babies about the age as YS that we cannot wait to introduce them to him.
