I brought Yong Shuan to see Allergist last Wednesday to have his skin prick test on some of the common allergies. Good news is, Yong Shuan didnot react to Wheat, Cow Milk, Soy, Egg White, Dust Mite and Mix Grass. This means he can have most of my home cooking. Doctor said we should reserve the peanut and shell fish when he turns 2 or even bigger.

ooo bravo! i have never thought of such a test necessary, this sl just gasak everything. but i can see that it is a good thing to do.
@ Siew : It was recommended by our GP when YS developed Eczema sometimes ago. As you can see, most of the time YS cheeks is red. A lot other part such like underneath the neck, armpit, and tummy is all time itchy to him.
After the test, I suspect that could be perfume, n other food additives. Bcoz we noticed he often react to Vegemite.
Yes, I was also told by SW's dermatologist that she doesnt need a skin allergy test yet till she turns 2 because it will not be very accurate anyway.
Was this test free (by Medicare) or it was part of insurance cover?
@Tsulin : The test is considered long consultation in the clinic and Medicare covered around 80% of the cost of it.
